Located at the tip of the beautiful Dampier Peninsula in Western Australia, the Kimberley Marine Research station was established by The Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm to facilitate independent marine research. The remote wild pearl shell fishery, is the only responsible and certified gem fishery in the world (certified by the Marine Stewardship Council, MSC).
The Ardyaloon Hatchery was established as a research station in conjunction with the Department of Fisheries. Discover the Bardi-Jawi people’s strong connection to their saltwater traditions and get up close and personal with some of the fish and coral species most prevalent in the area.
